2007 Secondary School Investment Club Project (SSIC)
From February to May, 2007 CSS designed and implemented a Secondary School Investment Club Project (SSIC) with 5 secondary schools in Kampala. Students were given training on how to invest in the East African Stock Exchanges (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania) and to calculate gains/losses based on a "virtual" portfolio of 10 Million USH.
At completion, the SSIC successfully trained over 750 students and enrolled 250 active participants. Participating Schools Included:
